Gayathri Manoj on her recent achievement in securing a prestigious PhD Studentship at the University of Leeds in Chemical & Process Engineering, generously funded by the EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership. Gayathri’s position, titled “Predictive Design of Drug Co-Crystals Through Correlative Studies of Inter-Molecular Interactions,” under the supervision of Dr. Anuradha Pallipurath, will be multifaceted and interdisciplinary, fostering collaboration with researchers at Leeds and the prestigious Diamond Light Source synchrotron radiation facility of UK.
Gayathri is an Integrated Masters student in Chemical Sciences (Batch 2019-2024) at the University of Hyderabad. Her selection for this prestigious studentship is a testament to her academic prowess and her potential to make significant contributions to the field of crystallization science. She has previously worked under the guidance of Prof. Ashwini Kumar Nangia at the University of Hyderabad, where she contributed to the enhancement of the physicochemical properties of drugs through multicomponent cocrystals.
As Gayathri embarks on this exciting academic journey at the University of Leeds, we extend our warmest wishes for her continued success and fulfillment in her research endeavors.
