On May 7, 2025, University of Hyderabad hosted Mr. Shelley Salehin, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Chennai. The visit was to strengthen bilateral ties and explore opportunities for academic collaboration.
Prof. BJ Rao, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar; Prof. Bramanandam Manavathi, Director, Office for International Affairs (OIA) and Dr. Arvind Susarla, Associate Director, OIA met with Mr. Shelley Salehin who was accompanied by Sri Sabari. S, Social Secretary, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, Chennai.
They discussed on bilateral cooperation, student exchanges, and potential partnerships. This was followed by visit to the Office for International Affairs and later Interaction with Bangladeshi students.
This visit reflects UoH’s growing international footprint and commitment to fostering global academic relationships.
