We are delighted to share that Prof. BJ Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad, was honoured by Sri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day and Telangana Samskruthika Sambaralu’ as a part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ program celebrations on 2nd June 2025 at the ‘Samskruthi’ Raj Bhavan Community Hall, Hyderabad.
Prof. BJ Rao expressed his gratitude and pride, highlighting his involvement in the early Telangana movement and witnessing the state’s remarkable progress, now being one of the highest GSDP and GDP-performing states in the country.
Prof. Rao emphasized the University’s commitment to contributing to Telangana’s growth and making it a shining example of excellence in Bharat.
