Manjima Anjana, a distinguished alumna of the Department of Political Science at the University of Hyderabad, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a prestigious Doctoral Candidate position at the University of Warwick’s Department of Politics and International Studies in the UK. Funded by the Midlands Graduate School ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership, Manjima’s research will focus on the epistemic politics of climate mitigation interventions, specifically exploring Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) technologies.

Under the guidance of Dr. Madeleine Fagan and Dr. Caroline Kuzemko, Manjima’s PhD project promises to contribute significantly to the field of climate politics. Notably, she had also received fully funded PhD admissions from the Geneva Graduate Institute and Aberystwyth University, showcasing her academic excellence.
