The NSS Cell, University of Hyderabad (UoH), observed the 76th Indian Constitution Day on 26 November 2025 at the NSS Office premises. Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator, along with NSS volunteers, paid floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by garlanding his portrait.

Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator read out the Preamble in English along with the NSS volunteers. The volunteers also participated in commemorating Dr. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Krishnaiah highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s pivotal role in establishing constitutional safeguards for the upliftment of Dalits and other marginalized communities. He emphasized Ambedkar’s vision of promoting Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity among all citizens. Dr. Krishnaiah encouraged the participants to make effective use of the opportunities provided by the government, strive for personal excellence, and contribute meaningfully to society in accordance with Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.

Student coordinator Mr. Rahul, along with volunteers Venkatadas, Bhaskar, and Abhilash, also spoke on the occasion. They underscored the significance of Constitution Day and reiterated the enduring relevance of the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
