The NSS Volunteers of University of Hyderabad (UoH) are actively involved for the last four days in organizing special camps in the villages of Tellapur, Indranagar and Ambedkar nagar. On 5th December 2014 as part of their campaign, the volunteers organized Pollution free environment program.

As a part of it the NSS volunteers planted trees in the Tellapur and Indranagar villages. In these villages the volunteers have planted more than 100 trees and also they went to the Government Schools of both the villages and helped the school children to plant trees and educated them about the importance of trees and preserving the environment.

In this program the NSS Coordinator of UoH, Dr. V. Srinivasa Rao, the Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch of the village, the School teachers and students participated and planted trees.
