Ms. Priyanka Kanake, PhD Research Scholar in Psychology, Centre for Health Psychology, School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) presented a paper at the 2nd International Conference on Pediatrics and Healthcare May 13-14, 2024, Bangkok, Thailand.
Ms. Kanake Priyanka is a research scholar at the Centre for Health Psychology, working under the guidance of Prof. G. Padmaja. She presented her paper, “Body Image Disturbances and Psychological Well-being in Women Facing Reproductive Cancer Challenges,” at the 2nd International Conference on Pediatrics and Healthcare May 13-14, 2024, Bangkok, Thailand, highlighting her innovative research in the field of Psycho-Oncology.
Ms. Priyanka is currently doing her doctoral research with a focus on exploring the psychological dimensions of cancer and developing therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients’ psychological well-being. She gratefully acknowledges the funding and support from the Institution of Eminence (IoE) at UoH, for her participation in the International Conference to present the above paper.
