The Department of Physical Education and Sports, University of Hyderabad (UoH) successfully organized “Run for Swadeshi”, a 5 KM run, on the occasion of the 164th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
The run started and concluded at the Students Amenities Centre. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and patriotism.
The programme was flagged off by Dr. Anjeneya Swami Kare, In-charge, Physical Education and Sports. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, national pride, and to inspire participants with the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The event was conducted smoothly and received an encouraging response from the campus community.
