Ms. S. J. Sravani, Ph.D Scholar in the School of Engineering Sciences & Technology (SES&T), University of Hyderabad (UoH), has secured the Best Poster Award for the work entitled “Synthesis and characterization of a novel magnetic Co3C-Co0.35Fe0.65 composite by mechanical alloying” at the International Conference on “Advances in Materials & Processing: Challenges & Opportunities” (AMPCO 2017) held during Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2017 in the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.

Ms. Sravani, CSIR JRF in Engineering Stream at the SES&T carried out her work with the support of the University Potential for Excellence (UPE-II grant); and the project investigators being Prof. C. Bansal (School of Physics), Dr. A. Rajanikanth (School of Physics) and Dr. Ing. V. V. S. S. Srikanth (SES&T)
