The results of the elections held for the Students’ Union of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) for the year 2025-26 have been announced. After a day-long process of counting the votes polled on September 19, 2025, the results were announced on September 20, 2025.
More than 5500 students were eligible to vote and more than 81% polling took place. UoH -EC has facilitated Bailey ballets also for Visually disabled students.
Counting took place in 45 rounds and the results of the elections are as follows:
President: Won by Siva Palepu securing 1541 votes with margin of 170 votes.
Vice-President: Won by Debendra securing 1773 votes with margin of 603 votes
General Secretary: Won by Shruti Priya securing 1667 votes with margin of 667 votes
Joint Secretary: Won by Saurabh Shukla securing 1612 votes with margin of 490 votes.
Cultural Secretary: Won by Venus securing 2099 votes with margin of 1147 votes with margin of 1147 votes.
Sports Secretary: Won by Jwala securing 1657 votes with margin of 470 votes.
ICC (GS-Cash) Integrated: Won by Sai Pranathi by 33 votes margin,
ICC (GS-Cash) PG: Won by Kandi Poojitha unanimously
ICC (GS-CASH) Research: Won by Goduguluri Gayathri with margin of 46 votes.
Election Commission Members and officials who played a crucial role in conducting the elections peacefully on campus
The election commission congratulated the newly elected office bearers and conveyed their best wishes for their tenure. They acknowledged all the student community for their constant support during entire election process that made this year’s election peaceful.
