Swachhata Rally was organized by the NSS cell, UoH in coordination with the University of Hyderabad Campus School on 28-09-2024 as a part of Swachhata Hi Seva – 2024.
Chief Guest Dr. Devesh Nigam, the Registrar of the University flagged off the rally.
Addressing the school students, he said that everyone should contribute to Swachhata and it is everyone’s responsibility. All have to keep observing Swachhata at school, in their surroundings, and in family and society.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS coordinator said that NSS cell, UoH has been organizing many activities on and off the campus to bring awareness about the importance of Swachhata in one’s daily life.
Mr. P. Murali, Principal of the school said that they are putting efforts to maintain the hygiene on the campus to ensure the safety of the students on the campus and he thanked the NSS cell for choosing the school for organizing the Swachhata rally.
Dr. Bhimsingh, the Programme officer, the NSS volunteers, the teachers, and the school’s students participated in the rally. The rally started from the school premises and ended at the main gate of the University.
