The Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri. Jishnu Dev Varma , released the book titled “Telanagana Rajkiya Prastanam : Socio, Economic Perspective” authored by Prof. Ramdas Rupavath, faculty in the Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) at an event in Raj Bhavan on 22nd October 2024.
About the Book:
Telangana Political Processes: Socio, Economic Perspective include many of the most significant developments in Telangana political process and its institutions in the last 77 years of independence. Prof. Ramdas Rupavath specialises in the areas of Indian political processes, democracy, development, tribal politics, education and politics, pluralism and politics of accommodation and comparative politics in indigenous societies. He did his MA, MPhil and PhD from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has published more than ten books and a number of articles in national and international journals.
