RUR Rankings Agency in partnership with Clarivate Analytics announced the release of RUR 2021 World University Rankings on 27 April 2021. Round University Ranking (RUR) is an international ranking of leading world universities published by the RUR Ranking Agency (Moscow, Russia). The ranking provides a comparison of 1150 leading universities from 85 countries around the world for 12 years (2010-2021) according to 20 indicators distributed into 4 areas: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. Such a wide coverage, both geographically and temporally, makes RUR ranking a unique tool for choosing universities for study and work, as well as comparing higher education institutions on a global scale. Round University Ranking (RUR) is based on the data provided by Clarivate Analytics (formerly the IP & Science business of Thomson Reuters).
Responding to these rankings, Prof. Appa Rao Podile, Vice-Chancellor, UoH said, “It’s a great feeling to see that our university is ranked in the top 350 global institutions, and the only Indian university in the top 6 institutions figuring in RUR. Our faculty have been working on producing excellent research and providing the right motivation for the younger colleagues to emulate in all domains, including teaching.” “We look forward to improving our performance in the coming years and be among the top 200 institutions of the world”, he added.
RUR Ranking agency is a Russian ranking agency, existing since 2013. The data provider for the RUR system is Clarivate Analytics, the global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to accelerate the pace of innovation.
