As part of the Media Ethics project funded by the U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad, Dr. Shakuntala Rao of the SUNY Plattsburgh, Department of Communication Studies and Dr. Kanchan K. Malik, Department of Communication, University of Hyderabad, interviewed senior, accomplished editors and journalists heading prestigious media houses in Hyderabad.

The editors spoke eloquently about media ethics, the dilemmas that journalists face on a day to day basis, and the ways that one could deal with them in order to produce news that is responsible and sensitive.

Dr. Shakuntala Rao also spoke to the the students of the Department of Communication, University of Hyderabad on “Justice and Media Ethics” as part of the ‘Research Roundtable’ hosted by the Department on 22 August.
