The Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Library at the University of Hyderabad organized an online training session on QuillBot Premium on 20 January 2026 at 3:00 PM. The program, led by Librarian I/c Dr. Siva Sankar Prasad, aimed to promote the effective and ethical use of digital tools in academic writing.
Mr. Piyush Soni conducted the session, offering a comprehensive overview of QuillBot’s applications in academic and research writing. Key features highlighted included AI-powered paraphrasing, grammar and style checking, plagiarism detection, citation support, and enhancements for clarity, coherence, and scholarly quality.
Faculty members, research scholars, and students from various university departments participated actively. The trainer demonstrated practical use cases, addressed queries on best practices, limitations, and responsible AI use to uphold academic integrity. The session was well-received for its relevance and hands-on approach.
