The Indira Gandhi Memorial Library, University of Hyderabad, recently organized a Library Orientation Programme for the students of the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST).
The programme provided students with valuable insights into the diverse range of library resources, facilities, and services available to support their academic and research journeys. Participants were introduced to the effective use of print and electronic resources, scholarly databases, plagiarism detection software, research support services, and other essential tools designed to enhance their learning and research experience.

A library is more than a repository of books—it is a gateway to knowledge, discovery, innovation, and lifelong learning. By familiarizing students with the resources and services available to them, such orientation programmes help develop the information and research skills necessary to make the most effective use of these resources throughout their academic journey.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Library remains committed to empowering students by providing the knowledge, resources, and support they need to excel academically and build a strong foundation for their future.
