Bhakti Deshmukh, a PhD Scholar at the Centre for English Language Studies, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH), working under the supervision of Dr. Joy Anuradha, represent Telangana State at the National Youth Parliament and speak at the Parliament House, New Delhi has left a powerful imprint with her thoughts on the nation’s highest forum at the prestigious Viksit Bharat National Youth Parliament 2025 held at Parliament House, New Delhi on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025.


Organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the event brought together young leaders from across the country to contribute to Bharat’s developmental vision.  Competing and collaborating with over 75,000 participants from various stages of the competition, Bhakti emerged as the First Winner at both the Hyderabad District and Telangana State levels and advanced to the national level through her visionary ideas and remarkable performance.

As the official state representative, Bhakti addressed the Parliament on the theme ‘One Nation, One Election’, speaking alongside eminent policymakers of the nation.


In recognition of her inspiring participation and innovative contribution to nation-building, she was felicitated with a National Level recognition by Smt. Raksha Khadse, Hon’ble Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports.
