Professor Ramdas Rupavath, Professor in the Department of Political Science, School of Social Science, University of Hyderabad has been selected for the Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Sadbhavana Award for Education Excellence -2022.
The Achievers Association for Economic Research & Development (AAERD) has chosen Professor Rupavath for this award for his individual contribution towards extra–ordinaire education. The award will be presented at the national level conference on “Individual Contribution Towards Health, Education & Economical Development “on 25th August ,2022 at Speaker Hall, Constitution Club of India, V.P. House, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.
Prof. Ramdas Rupavath was born in a small hamlet of South Indian Telangana State in the 1970s. He did his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. His work focuses on development of the Tribal communities with special focus on their Social, Economic, Political, Educational and Cultural upliftments. He has discussed and developed field experiments which stand as an important methodology to explore the relationships between the Tribal and the upper communities. For Tribal alienation, education and social movements, he was recently honoured with many awards.
