The University of Hyderabad Campus School (UHCS) participated in several key events aimed at developing its students’ overall physical prowess and academic learning.

One of the highlights was UHCS’s participation in the 5th District Level Yogasana Championship, organized by the Hyderabad District Yogasana Sports Association. Competing among 200-250 participants, two of our students excelled in the Artistic Pair Yogasana event.

Vaishnavi from Class 7B and M. Chandana Sri from Class 6C secured silver and bronze medals, respectively, a testament to their hard work and discipline. UHCS is extremely proud of their achievements as they have advanced to the state-level championship, continuing their pursuit of excellence.

In celebration of patriotism and to inculcate a sense of nationalism among the students, UHCS organized the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally on the occasion of Independence Day.  The rally started at the school, proceeded to the post office and Gurbhaksh Singh Hall, and then returned to the school. The students energetically chanted patriotic slogans, expressing their deep love for the country and demonstrating their dedication to the nation’s values.

Further, UHCS has also been proactive in enhancing the skills of its educators through an in-service training program for teaching professionals. The training focused on the National Education Policy (NEP) and covered various contemporary teaching strategies such as marking schemes, integrated learning, and continuous assessment.

Our esteemed resource person led the training and provided valuable insights, helping the teachers better understand the latest developments in the educational landscape.

Additionally, UHCS celebrated Sanskrit Basha Dinotsav, an exemplary attempt to restore the glory of one of India’s ancient languages. Students enthusiastically participated in various activities such as raising slogans, singing songs, performing dances, and reading poetry.

The celebration reminded us of the importance of preserving and promoting the oldest Indian language and keeping our rich heritage alive.

UHCS will continue to strive for the holistic development of our students, working hard to instill values of patriotism, encourage academic and cultural excellence, and ensure our educators are equipped with the best tools for nurturing young minds.
