The Hon. Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mumbai office, Mr. Eddy Wardoyo, Mr. Endy K.I. Ginting, Consul (Protocol & Consular), Mr. Muhammad Syafruddin Akhyar, Visa Officer accompanied by Ms. Filzah Farhanah Hasibuan, Phd Student of EFLU Hyderabad and Mr. Farras Chaidar Rahman, B. Tech Student of NIT Warangal visited the University of Hyderabad on 26th June 2024 to explore possibilities of collaboration.
Prof. Chetan Srivastava, Director, Office for International Affairs, University of Hyderabad, welcomed the HE Consul General and the delegates, an gave a brief overview of University and it’s International Collaborations. He spoke on various options which can be explored for collaboration between University of Hyderabad and varied Universities in Indonesia.
Prof. BJ Rao, Vice Chancellor, UoH introduced the university, its courses, research strengths to the delegates. He spoke about the cultural similarities between India and Indonesia, which will make it easy for the collaboration as well as exchange of students and faculty. He also discussed on how India and University of Hyderabad has high quality higher education at very affordable cost.
Mr. Eddy Wardoyo felt the need for exploring opportunities for specific collaborations which can benefit exchange of students and faculty.
Prof. M. Ghanashyam Krishna, Director, Institution of Eminence, Prof. SL Sabat, Director, R&D Cell, Prof. Alok Kumar Mishra, Associate Director, Office for International Affairs and Sri Ashish Jacob Thomas, Public Relations Officer were also present.
