In a proud moment for the institution, Dr. Devesh Nigam, the Registrar, University of Hyderabad (UoH), was conferred with the prestigious “Educational Excellence Pioneer Award-2026”. The honour was bestowed upon him at the high-profile Hyderabad Education Conclave 2026, which took place on June 20, 2026.

The conclave, themed “Uniting School & Higher Education Leaders,” was organized by Plus Nineone Media and brought together top educational policymakers, Vice-Chancellors, principals, administrative and academic leaders from across the country to discuss the future of the Indian education ecosystem.
