The Department of Education and Education Technology, School of Social Sciences at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) successfully organized an Exhibition of Sustainable Models as part of the Sustainable Club Initiative, as part of the course Education for Sustainable Development. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ravula Krishnaiah, course coordinator.
The goal of the show was to teach students about sustainability, environmental responsibility, and new ways to live sustainably. As part of this school project, students worked together to create and present models addressing several environmental and developmental problems.

The course had five groups of students. Each group built and presented a sustainable development model focused on renewable energy, waste management, water conservation, eco-friendly infrastructure, and community-based sustainability practices. The models showed that the students were creative, research-based, and practical when it came to solving real-world environmental problems.
Students talked to instructors, peers, and visitors about the idea behind their models, what they were trying to achieve, and how they may be used in real life throughout the display. The program gave people a chance to learn together, think critically, and get hands-on with sustainability ideas.

Dr. Ravula Krishnaiah spoke at the event and stressed the importance of integrating sustainability principles into education. He also urged students to come up with new ideas that help protect the environment and promote sustainable development.
Students and faculty members were really excited about and appreciated the display. This shows how education can help people become responsible citizens and adopt sustainable behaviours.

The event showed that education can encourage young people to think outside the box and work together to make the world a better place.
