Dr. Aniruddha Jena is beginning a new chapter at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, joining the School of Management as an Assistant Professor. Bringing a wealth of experience from his previous tenure at IIM Kashipur, Dr. Jena’s journey is a testament to the power of participatory communication and academic rigor.

His upcoming year is set to be a global one, as he has been named a Charles Wallace India Trust Fellow at King’s College London for 2025–26. Despite his international reach—including his leadership as Co-Vice Chair of Participatory Communication Research Section at IAMCR—he remains deeply rooted in the mentorship he received at the University of Hyderabad.
Aniruddha completed his PhD (2017–2022) under the supervision of Prof. Vasuki Belavadi at the Department of Communication. During this period, he also contributed closely to various projects and activities of the UNESCO Chair on Community Media.
