Prof. Kamal K. Misra, faculty in the Department of Anthropology at University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been invited as a Speaker at the 2013 Yeongwol International Museum Forum in Yeongwol County, the Republic of Korea, to be held from October 21 to 24, 2013.
The invitation to Prof. Misra has been extended by the Governor of Yeongwol and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Park Seon-Kyu. He will address the forum on “New Museum Movement in India”. During his visit Prof. Misra will advise on establishing a roofless museum in Yeongwol.
Prof. Misra has earlier been appointed as an expert member on a high-level committee to map Status of Tribals by the Government of India. Prof. Misra was former Director of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) at Bhopal as well as the former Director of Anthropological Survey of India.
