Krishnaiah K., a PhD research scholar at the Centre for Comparative Literature, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UH), is working under the supervision of Professor Dr. J. Bheemaiah, the Head of CCL at the University of Hyderabad.
His research paper, titled “The Changing Face: The Role of Social Media in Political Campaigning,” was selected for presentation at the 7th International Conference on Advanced Research in Social Sciences (ICARSS) at Cambridge University, UK.
The conference was held at The Møller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, from June 7 to 9, 2024. Krishnaiah completed his BSc from Osmania University and holds master’s degrees from SN School, University of Hyderabad, and Political science from Ambedkar University. He was the only Indian to have an oral presenter at the conference, and his paper was appreciated by the conference organisers at Churchill College as one of the best in New Media studies among the two selected papers of 40+.
Krishnaiah expressed his sincere gratitude to his supervisor, Professor Dr. J. Bheemaiah, for his constant encouragement and support. He also thanked the doctoral committee members, Prof. Thirumal of SN School and Dr. Vamsi Krishna Reddy of CCL, and other faculties at the Centre.
