Shabin B.N., a fourth-year doctoral research scholar at the Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), University of Hyderabad (UoH), recently presented a paper at an international conference held at the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
The conference, titled “Work and Employment in the Great Reshuffle: Navigating the Polycrisis,” was organized by the Work, Employment and Society (WES) group of the prestigious British Sociological Association (BSA).
Shabin presented a research paper titled “From Segregation to Superexploitation: Neoliberal Accumulation in Dalit Settlements of Kerala.” His study examines the dynamics of neoliberal economic structures, labour exploitation, and spatial segregation within Dalit colonies in Kerala, offering critical insights into contemporary socioeconomic challenges and social inclusion.
