Shaik John Basheer a PhD Research Scholar and Children’s Theatre Practitioner from the Department of Theatre Arts, S N School of Arts and Communication has been invited to participate in an ‘International Theatre Exchange Workshop and Festival by Mindulle Theatre Village a leading Theatre Company in South Korea.
Basheer is going to direct a play and tour across South Korea from 1st to 29th July starting with Hwaseong City. As a part of this tour he will showcase his play at well-known theatre festivals, including the PUM theatre festival in South Korea.
Shaik John Basheer has been honoured with a “Nandi” Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2010 and was also appointed as a Jury member for the same in 2013-14.
