This paper attempts to open a window into the extensive knowledge of Tamasika Manasa Prakriti and its connection to mental health. Prakriti is one of the most important components as it is the inherent characteristics property of an individual refers to the genetically determined physical and mental growth of individual which is classified into two categories, Sharira and Manasa Prakritis. Manasa Prakriti is the Psychic constitution of the body. And again, Manasa Prakriti is classified into three Satvika, Rajasika, Tamasika. In these Tamasika means delusion, laziness etc. Through this paper we can see the Tamasika Manasa Prakriti of an individual and the negative characters they are having.

In the domain of Indian Psychology and Mental Health, the conference offered a platform for scholars and researchers to discuss and present their work and it was hosted by Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth. Adi Sankara Nilayam in Ernakulam. Kerala from 1st December to 3rd December 2023.
