Prof.R.P.Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, attended the function and talked about the importance of career guidance. Sri.Umapathy Sattaru, Retired IPS officer and acclaimed career counsellor, gave the key note address. Instead of delivering a long speech he preferred to interact with students individually, asking each student his/her career ambitions. He gave career specific guidance to each aspirant and advised them to be focussed and hard working. A good percentage of the participants expressed their interest in joining the civil services and received guidance from Sri.Umapathy.
