The Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Library, University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with iGroup India, organised a half-day workshop on “Empowering Researchers: Writing, Managing, and Sharing Your Work” on 19 November 2025 at the CV Raman Auditorium. The event brought together faculty members, research scholars, and library professionals for an enriching session focused on enhancing academic writing and research dissemination skills.

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Ghanashyam Krishna M., Senior Professor, CASEST, School of Physics, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of clarity, structure, originality, and ethical practices in scholarly communication, highlighting how improved academic writing strengthens the University’s research visibility and global impact.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Dr. Carsten Borchert, Co-Founder and Managing Director, SciFlow, who demonstrated advanced tools for preparing and managing scholarly manuscripts, including collaborative writing workflows, automated formatting, and integrated reference and citation management.

A Panel Discussion moderated by Dr. O. Sivasankar Prasad, University Librarian (I/c), further explored strategies for effective research writing and dissemination. The panel featured distinguished experts:

The panel addressed key aspects of academic writing, data management, manuscript preparation, and effective dissemination strategies, followed by an engaging interactive Q&A session.


The workshop concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Padmini, IGM Library, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, speakers, panel members, participants, and iGroup India for their support and collaboration. The event ended with High Tea, leaving participants motivated to enhance their research communication practices and adopt modern tools to support their scholarly output.
