We congratulate Dr. Jadhav Prathap Singh, an alumnus of the University of Hyderabad’s (UoH) Department of Political Science, on his appointment as Assistant Professor at the Central University of South Bihar’s Department of Political Studies. Jadhav did his IMA (2007-2012); MPhil (2012-2014) and MPhil (2012-2014) PhD (2014-2022) from UoH.
Academic Background:
– Ph.D. Research: Explored intra-state border changes and the politics of recognition, redistribution, and representation in tribal areas of Telangana under Prof. Kham Khan Suan Hausing’s supervision.
Prior to that he has completed his Integrated Master’s and MPhil the University of Hyderabad. His MPhil dissertation focused on wildlife policies and the state of exception in the adivasi region.
Professional Experience:
– Teaching Experience: Served as Guest Faculty at GITAM University and Osmania University, and taught at the Prof. C. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education.
Dr Singh has cleared UGC-JRF in Political Science and has published research articles in journals and edited books. He has participated in several academic workshops and has presented research papers in several national and international seminars/conferences.
