Mr. Racha Aribag, Consul General and Ms. Pornpun Pupiangjai, Deputy Consul General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chennai visited University of Hyderabad to interact with Vice Chancellor, Prof. B.J. Rao. Director, OIA, Prof. Bramanandam Manavathi and Associate Director, OIA, Prof, Arvind Susarla were also present at the meeting. The meeting underscored the need to intensify exchange of students and faculty between universities in Thailand and University of Hyderabad.
At the meeting there was an exchange of information on opportunities that are available for UoH community, as well as avenues for the Thai students and faculty to visit Hyderabad. Further interactions are to be held with OIA in order to spell out details of collaboration and exchanges that can be implemented between UoH and Thai universities was the final thought at the meeting.
