The Department of Music, University of Hyderabad, is delighted to share that its alumna Ms. Pranathi Vyzarsu has been awarded a ‘Direct B High’ Grade in Carnatic Classical Music (Vocal) by All India Radio (Prasar Bharati)—a prestigious recognition of excellence in Indian classical music. Ms. Pranathi completed her Master of Performing Arts (Music) from the Department of Music, University of Hyderabad, during the 2023–2025 academic session. This latest achievement adds to her earlier recognitions by All India Radio, where she already holds a B High Grade in Light Music and a B Grade in Devotional Music, reflecting her versatility across multiple musical genres.
