The state-of-the-art central facilities at the School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH), welcomed secondary-grade Cambridge (Stages 7–9) students from The Quantum School, Shankarpalli, for an immersive educational visit on 5th August 2026. Coordinated and organized by Monica Kannan, the initiative aimed to connect classroom science with real-world research.
During the visit, young learners got a firsthand look at the scientific process—observing how researchers formulate hypothesis questions, design experiments, operate specialized laboratory instruments, analyze data, and navigate unexpected experimental outcomes.

The interactive exposure showed students how fundamental concepts from their school curriculum translate into cutting-edge biological research and real-world technological applications.
