The University of Hyderabad is pleased to announce that Dr. Somratan Sau, PhD alumnus of the School of Chemistry, has been selected for the prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan (FY2026).
Dr. Sau has joined the Institute of Microbial Chemistry in Tokyo, Japan, as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow, where he will conduct advanced research under the guidance of Prof. Masakatsu Shibasaki, one of Japan’s most distinguished scientists and a globally renowned pioneer in synthetic organic chemistry.
This prestigious fellowship marks an important milestone in Dr. Sau’s research career and reflects the strong academic training and research foundation developed during his doctoral studies at the University of Hyderabad.
