Dr. Rahul Kumar, Professor in the Department of Plant Sciences, School of Life Sciences (Faculty | Department of Plant Sciences), has joined the editorial board of the prestigious journal “Plant Molecular Biology (Springer Nature)” as an Associate Editor (Editorial board | Plant Molecular Biology | Springer Nature Link). PMB was established in 1981 and consistently ranks among the top plant sciences journals worldwide, with an H-index of 208 and an impact factor of ~4. In the last two decades, it has always been a Q1 journal in Plant Science research.
Dr. Rahul will handle manuscripts in the research areas of Fruit Development and Ripening, Gene-editing, Plant Mineral Nutrition, Auxin-Ethylene Signaling, Brassinosteroid Signaling, and Membrane Trafficking. He will be working with the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Motoaki Seki, at the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science, Japan.

In addition, Prof. Rahul Kumar serves as an Associate Editor for two other Springer Nature Q1 Journals, namely Journal of Plant Growth Regulation, Impact Factor 4.2 (Editorial board | Journal of Plant Growth Regulation | Springer Nature Link) and Plant Cell Reports, Impact Factor 5.3 (Editorial board | Plant Cell Reports | Springer Nature Link).
