Aswathy E.C., PhD scholar working under the guidance of Professor JSR Prasad in the Department of Sanskrit Studies, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad presented a paper titled “Tantrayukti: Bridging Tradition and Logic in Ancient Indian Scholarly Practices” at 51st All India Oriental Conference.

This paper presents the concept of Tantrayukti, the ancient and systematic set of methodological principles used in the composition and interpretation of Sanskrit texts and also serves as a bridge between tradition and logic in scholarly practices. By examining key Tantrayukti methods, such as Adhikarana, Yoga, Hetvarthah, the paper illustrates how these techniques ensure the clarity, consistency and precision in conveying knowledge.

All India Oriental Conference offered a platform for scholars and researchers to discuss and present their work in this prestigious occasion. Conference was held in Udupi, Karnataka from 24th October to 26th October.
