The UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, an esteemed institution at the University of Hyderabad, has the honour of hosting an Exposure Visit for selected principals from CBSE-affiliated schools across the country. This initiative aligns with the themes of the National Education Policy (NEP) and focuses on modern schooling methods, skill-based education, and fostering innovative thinking among students.
The inaugural program for this significant event took place today at the Seminar Hall, School of Life Sciences. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. B.J. He emphasized the rationale behind organizing this exposure visit and highlighted its benefits. Prof. Babu articulated the importance of such initiatives in providing a platform for principals to engage with contemporary educational strategies, particularly those that emphasize skill development and the inculcation of new ideas in students.
This visit has brought together 51 distinguished principals from both government and private schools affiliated with CBSE, representing various regions of India. The program aims to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the innovative educational practices and skill-based initiatives being implemented at the University of Hyderabad. Through this exposure, the principals will gain valuable insights into effective methods for enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes for their students.
In alignment with the NEP’s vision, the program includes a series of sessions and activities designed to showcase cutting-edge approaches to education. These include workshops on skill development, interactive sessions on fostering creativity and critical thinking, and demonstrations of best practices in modern teaching methodologies. By participating in this visit, the principals will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to transform their schools into centres of excellence that nurture the holistic development of students.
The University of Hyderabad is proud to support this important initiative and is committed to contributing to the advancement of education in India. We believe that this exposure visit will not only benefit the participating principals but also have a lasting impact on the educational landscape of the country.
