On February 8, 2025, the NSS Cell, University of Hyderabad, organized a clean-up drive at the NSS Park, in collaboration with the Horticulture and Sanitation departments.
Over 50 volunteers joined forces to transform the park, working tirelessly from 7 am to 12 noon. The team cleared dried grass, trimmed bushes, pruned tree branches, and removed waste. The collected waste was transported to the dump yard using a tractor.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Co-ordinator, led by example, guiding and participating in the activity alongside the volunteers.
This initiative embodies the NSS spirit of community service, promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.
