The National Service Scheme (NSS), University of Hyderabad organized Shramadaan programme om 3rd August 2024 as part of Swachhata Pakhwada celebrations (1 – 15 September 2024), which is inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to make swachhata “everyone’s business”.
NSS volunteers cleared the weeds at the herbal garden on the school premises and cut the bushes and the waste branches of the trees and creepers over growing herbal plants. They removed the dry logs lying on the premises and transported them to the dump yard with the help of tractor. They also planted different herbal plants.
Dr. Bhimsingh, the Programme Officer guided the volunteers while participating in the activity.
