An awareness programme – Creating Safer Spaces: Consent, Boundaries & Respect was organised by the Internal Complaints Committee, UoH on 1st September, 2026 at the Savitribai Phule (DST) Auditorium. Prof. Anurekha Chari Wagh, Member-ICC and Ms. Poojitha Kandi, ICC – PG GSCASH, University of Hyderabad, successfully organized the event.
The SAHAS intiative by the Telangana Police saw active participation of PG students by making the session mandatory. The speaker, Ms. Asiya Shervani, Head of the SAHAS Team, Women’s Safety Wing, Telangana Police, shared her valuable insights, and she was ably supported by Advocate Ms. Surya Keerthi to make the programme meaningful and successful.
