Uday Raj Singh, Aparajit, Masters student, Department of Communications, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communications, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has recently participated in the “Jashn-e-Sainma”, a two-day fest, held at Tagore Auditorium of Osmania University by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Osmania University, in association with Ministry of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana on 28 March, 2024.

Uday was awarded the “Best Performer” award in the poetry category and received cash prize for the same.
He is an Economics graduate from Lucknow University and has been awarded many honors earlier as well. Has received positive applause for performing brilliantly on big platforms like Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy, Urdu Academy, Koshal Literature Festival, UP Mahotsav, Bharat Mahotsav etc. Uday was also awarded “Creative Writers” Award in the Awadh Festival organized in Lucknow University and also garnered a lot of media highlights with his performance in the Centennial Celebration organized in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Bhasha Sansthan and Sanskritiki.
