Dr. Aruna Bhikshu, Professor at the Department of Dance, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Visishta Mahila Puraskaram’ award by the Government of Telangana on the occasion of International Women’s Day, 2024 for her contribution to the field of Dance.
The award ceremony honoured 19 women in total for their commendable service in their respective fields. The award was conferred by the Hon’ble. Minister of Women and Child Welfare of Telangana, Smt. D. Anasuya Seethakka.
