Adding another feather to the cap, 24 students under the tutelage of Sensei Srikanth Bobbili, Karate Coach at University of Hyderabad (UoH), bagged numerous medals at the 34th Japan Karate Association of India (JKAI) Karate National Tournament held at Gachibowli Stadium from 23rd January to 26th January 2017.
Students from the University exhibited exemplary performances bagging 13 out of the 24 medals won.

The children of the University faculty came out with flying colours at the prestigious event, bagging 6 medals under four major categories.
Master Kushal Reddy won bronze medal under the below ten years team Kata and bagged silver medal under the below 12 years team Kunmite.
Ms. Ayushi Narayan and Master Noureen Noushad bagged bronze medals under the below 12 years girls team and below the 16 years team respectively.
Ms. Sree kirti Panda won bronze under the below 12 years team and Master Raghavendra bagged a silver medal the below 12 years team Kunmite.
