The University of Hyderabad community is deeply saddened by the passing of Prof. K.V.A. Ramaiah, formerly Professor, Department of Biochemistry, School of Life Sciences, on 29 October 2025.
Prof. Ramaiah was a dedicated and sincere member of the faculty whose work and mentorship enriched the academic and institutional fabric of the University. His commitment to teaching, research, and the pursuit of knowledge continues to inspire generations of students and colleagues.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that they find strength and solace during this time of profound grief and irreparable loss.
