“Maintaining our footing on the global stage in the QS World Rankings is a testament to the tireless dedication of our faculty, researchers, and students. As an Institution of Eminence, we see rankings as an outcome of our core academic values rather than our singular objective.
Moving forward, we are actively addressing the structural challenges shared by many Indian public universities—such as expanding our international research networks and optimizing our faculty-to-student ratios. We are investing heavily in a revamped curriculum, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and strategic international partnerships to translate Hyderabad’s growth as an innovation hub into greater global academic competitiveness.”
As UoH enters its next phase of developmental growth, the university is actively deploying specialized funding from its Institution of Eminence (IoE) status to aggressively scale up high-impact research, file international patents, and build a more diverse, inclusive international student and faculty body.
The QS World University Rankings is the world’s most popular and authoritative comparative framework for university performance. Utilizing rigorous metrics including Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Faculty, Faculty/Student Ratio, International Faculty/Student Ratios, and Sustainability, the 2027 edition evaluates thousands of institutions across the globe to guide future scholars and researchers.
