Dr. Bhargavi Rani Anne, an alumnus appointed as Assistant Professor at NIT Raipur

Dr. Bhargavi Rani Anne, an alumnus of the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST), University of Hyderabad (UoH) (M.Tech Materials Engineering 2014-2016, gold medallist) is appointed as an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur. Currently, she is serving as an Assistant Professor at NIT Raipur.

Dr. Bhargavi Rani Anne

After completing M.Tech. at UoH, Dr. Bhargavi was awarded the competitive MEXT scholarship for her doctoral studies by the Government of Japan. She completed her Ph.D. in Materials Processing Engineering from Kyushu University in 2020 and worked on the topic of “Temperature dependence of slip deformation under uniform/cyclic loads in Ti-6Al-4V” under the supervision of Prof. Masaki Tanaka.

Following her Ph.D., she served as a Research Assistant Professor at Kyushu University from 2020 to 2021. Subsequently, she also worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) from 2021 to 2022 and Kyungpook National University (KNU) from 2022 to 2023.
