ANTYAJAA: Indian Journal of Women and Social Change

This Journal is a peer reviewed and interdisciplinary journal that adheres to a rigorous double-anonymize reviewing policy in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties. It aims to explore inequality and social change from the perspective of women at the margins who experience poverty, caste, race, ethnicity, and religious marginalization – all within the overarching experience of gender. The purpose of the Journal is to publish (in the English language) well-researched articles, interviews, oral histories, and essays that draw forth the plight of the marginalized women, which have been judged worthy of publication by appropriate specialists and accepted by the Editor on studies relating to aims and scope of the journal. It is a first-of-its-kind initiative where activism will meet academics; and the journal is expected to draw contributions from various disciplines like sociology, anthropology, gender studies, literature, history, political science, philosophy, development studies as well as law, and social work. This journal will publish bi-annually in June and December of each year.
