The Department of Theatre Arts, University of Hyderabad (UoH) is organizing a summer camp for the children from 6th May 2014 to 5th June 2014. Prof. Anantha Krishnan, Dean, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and Communication, UoH and Dr. N.J. Bikshu, Head of the Dept., Theatre Arts, inaugurated this summer camp on 6th May 2014.
The courses include Origami (paper folding), Mask Making, Flower Making, Classical Dance, Western Dance, Classical Music, Light Music, Puppetry Making, Clay Moulding, Acting, Acting before Camera and Story Telling.
The training will be provided by the experts in the respective categories and by the alumni of UoH. Final presentation in all the above courses of the summer camp will be presented on 5th June 2014.
The summer camp is providing training in the said courses to a maximum of 30 students above 5 yrs.
This summer camp is coordinated by Mr. Chandra Shekhar Indla, a PhD Scholar in Theatre Arts at UoH and runs from 10am to 4pm at the S N School of Arts and Communication.
