The IGM Library at the University of Hyderabad kicked off an engaging online user awareness session, “Interdisciplinary Discovery with the Social Science Premium Collection,” on May 14, 2026. Targeted at faculty, research scholars, and students, the event drew enthusiastic participation.
Dr. O. Sivasankar Prasad, University Librarian (I/C), opened with a warm welcome, stressing the key role of subscribed e-resources in boosting academic learning and interdisciplinary research.
Leading the session was Mr. Srijith Sasidharan, a Certified Customer Success Professional with 17+ years in customer engagement and research solutions. He showcased ProQuest’s Social Science Premium Collection, demonstrating cross-disciplinary search techniques to uncover diverse perspectives and weave interdisciplinary evidence into research.
Attendees gained hands-on insights into advanced discovery tools and research features, sparking lively discussions and demos. The session wrapped up with thanks from Ms. Jasna, who thanked the speaker, participants, and organizers for an informative success.
